The Cardinal Foundation worked during the past year to attain two essential accreditations for non-profit board accountability. Achieving the Candid Seal of Platinum Status is certainly a high point. Candid, a foremost nonprofit watchdog, recognizes the Cardinal Foundation’s exceptional commitment to excellence and responsible stewardship of donor contributions. The seal publicly acknowledges the foundation’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in nonprofit management.

Charity Navigator helps millions of people support the causes they care about by connecting them to charities that align with their passion and values. As part of the endorsed Charity Navigator network, The Cardinal Foundation has achieved three stars and is working to achieve the full four-star status. Demonstrating our accountability, as well as leadership and adaptability, we strive for continuous improvement.

The Cardinal Foundation is an approved IRS 501(c)(3) support organization established to raise, manage, distribute and steward private resources to support the mission of Gadsden State. The Foundation is managed and controlled by a Board of Directors.
