A message from Foundation President Tommie Goggans
Thank you for your interest in the work of the Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation. We know there are many options for supporting the good work done in our community so we are especially grateful for your consideration of partnering with us to change lives now and for future generations.
We are driven by a mission that has remained unchanged since our beginning in 2012: We exist to support the mission of Gadsden State Community College and provide opportunities for students. Far more than words, this simple statement is the standard we use to evaluate everything we do including caring for our donors, distributing scholarship funds, exercising fiduciary oversight, writing for grants, supporting faculty and staff, and thinking strategically about our future.
Gadsden State Community College is often the first step in a journey of lifetime learning for many students, with some choosing to enter the workforce and others choosing to further their education at the university level. Gadsden State was the first stop on the path of higher education for my children and I can bear witness to the attention, care, and preparation they received.
The Cardinal Foundation believes in the power of easily accessible higher education to create lasting change in our region by creating lasting change in the lives of students. Our donors share this belief and generously support our efforts with their financial resources.
